St Andrews treat pop-up – call for craft artists
Fife Contemporary Art & Craft (FCA&C) in association with Craft Scotland are presenting a pop-up display and retail event in St Andrews from 17-19 November (private view 16 November) 2012. Held in the historic arts & crafts All Saints’ Hall, this event aims to catch the Christmas market early in Fife and profile high quality work. Supported by Creative Scotland and Fife Council, FCA&C promotes high quality craft and visual art activity across Fife and has been developing the treat brand for a range of craft initiatives.
Six Scottish-based makers are to be selected by FCA&C, Craft Scotland and a guest judge. Within their featured work the makers should include both a piece which demonstrates their vision and ambition within their medium and a range of more commercially accessible work.
